Flowingto is a collaborative database built around screenshots: you can think of it as a team-friendly design reference library plus a user flow tool. The goal is simple: bring product screenshots scattered across chat threads, photo albums, Figma links, and Notion docs back to a place that is organized, discussable, and traceable.

Why?

In real work, we often run into these problems:

  • Wanting to find the historical design of a feature, but ending up digging through chat history
  • Accessing a competitor's page can involve extremely high costs—each time you need to find the link, log in, and navigate to the right page
  • Screenshots from competitive analysis are scattered in Figma files or saved in local folders, making them impossible to share with colleagues
  • Discussing a "flow," but the assets are isolated images that can't be strung together
  • Unable to compare multiple competitors in one place

Flowingto was built to solve these problems. It uses a straightforward structure to manage content:

  • Workspace: manage permissions and collaboration scope by team or organization
  • Collection: categorize by platform or product line, such as iOS / Android / Web / Desktop
  • Version: record the design evolution of the same software over time or across iterations
  • Compare: create comparisons based on collections to analyze designs from different software side by side

Design

Flowingto's visual style centers on warm, humanistic colors. I customized Tailwind's default gray palette to steer it toward warmer gray tones. Every component's design and motion has been carefully crafted—you can visit the site to experience it directly.

Browser Extension and CLI

Aside from the web app, Flowingto also includes a browser extension and a CLI tool. The browser extension lets you save a screenshot of the current page directly into a Flowingto collection while browsing any website. The CLI tool makes it convenient to browse pages in a headless browser and upload directly when using agents, enabling automated screenshot collection.
