Flowingto

A screenshot library for product and design teams to collect references, track versions, and organize user flows.

Flowingto is a collaborative database in which the screenshot is the basic unit. It can also be understood as a shared design reference library and user-flow tool. It brings product screenshots scattered across chat history, photo libraries, Figma links, and Notion documents into a structure that can be organized, discussed, and traced.

Why Is It Needed?

Product and design teams repeatedly encounter a few problems:

  • Previous designs for a feature can only be recovered from chat history.
  • Revisiting a competitor's page requires finding the link, signing in, and locating the page again.
  • Competitive screenshots are scattered across Figma and local folders without a stable way to share them.
  • The team discusses a complete flow, but the stored material consists of isolated images.
  • Designs from several products cannot be compared in one view.

Flowingto organizes this material through four levels:

  • Workspace: Manage permissions and collaboration scope by team or organization.
  • Collection: Group material by platform or product line, such as iOS, Android, Web, and Desktop.
  • Version: Record changes to the same product over time or across iterations.
  • Compare: Compare designs from different products based on their Collections.

Design

Flowingto uses warm neutral colors. I adjusted Tailwind's default gray palette toward warmer tones. Components and motion follow the same visual and timing rules.

Browser Extension and CLI

In addition to the web application, Flowingto provides a browser extension and a CLI. The extension saves a screenshot of the current page directly to a selected Collection. The CLI supports agent workflows by visiting pages in a headless browser, capturing screenshots, and uploading them automatically.
